This particular model of the Ohaus Scout, the SPX123, is physically very compatible with Mineralab's Specific Gravity Kit - Bench Scale version, and since the scale offers Readability down to 1mg, that high level of sensitivity allows for Specific Gravity Measurements on items weighing as little as about 50mg or .2ct.
